Our team here at Trekker is proud to regularly participate in charity events, because giving back isn’t just something we value as individuals—it’s a deep part of our company culture. In particular, we love to take part in special events that benefit people seeking educational and job training opportunities.
Especially when there’s a sporting challenge and brisket involved.
We participated in one such event back on November 8, 2016. It was the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) of North Florida’s 5th Annual Sporting Clay Challenge. It was a beautiful day, and with 108 registered shooters, it was the biggest turnout for the event to date.
Trekker’s own sharpshooters came in second place. A tip of our hardhats to the first-place finishers from TB Landmark Construction, Inc.!
Proceeds from the event go to support NUCA scholarship programs that go to help fund higher education for children of NUCANF members.
