Forming & Shoring Sales Account Manager-Houston, TX


This position is primarily responsible for selling corporate products to businesses and industrial establishments or individuals by performing the following duties.


Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or meet with customers on sales floor or by phone.

Display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalog, and emphasize its in features and benefits.

Quote and explain prices and credit terms to customers and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.

Participate in all the sales process from quoting the goods to delivery and collections.

Develop and maintain relationships with current customer’s; new prospects.

Be proactive and assist in the process to solve any customer problem or situation.

Maintain new and current customer contact and data information current within Company computer database.

Compile and create lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.

Prepare reports as requested by Supervisor, including business transactions, gas, travel and other expenses.

Coordinate customer training.

Attend trade shows and trainings conducted by Company.

All other duties related to the position and requested by management.


This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Bachelor’s degree or minimum 3 years’ experience in Forming and Shoring Equipment Sales & rentals; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
