Remote monitoring systems for heavy equipment have numerous benefits. Telematics play an essential role in managing a fleet, staying on top of maintenance, maximizing productivity and profits, and more. The SiteWatch system on machines from CASE Construction Equipment has been an industry-leading example of powerful telematics capabilities for years now. But technology must always evolve with the times, and now CASE has released its updated new SiteWatch telematics platform.
The New SiteWatch Telematics at a Glance
The new SiteWatch telematics platform offers renewed focus on user-friendliness. Its redesigned dashboard features more intuitive navigation and introduces an overview section that puts crucial data front and center, eliminating the need to dig for it. Further critical information is quickly and easily found with just a click or two, whether it’s being accessed from a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or other mobile device.
There’s a clear main navigation menu running horizontally across the top of the new dashboard. Below that, five widgets display core operating information, including an equipment summary, equipment search, fuel level reports, and alarm status. A simple dropdown menu provides ready access to key reports, such as those on equipment utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance, and more. Beyond this, topline menu buttons take the user directly to fleet and maintenance overviews.
The SiteWatch remote monitoring system comes standard for three years on many CASE machines. It is in compliance with the Association of Equipment Management Professionals 2.0 telematics standard, guaranteeing that it’s compatible with mixed fleets.
